Helen Wingstedt is a Horse Whisperer dedicated to promoting optimum horse health, wellbeing, performance, fair handling, friendship and education. Her innovative ‘Equamigo Approach’ is a simple, practical, compassionate method of understanding, caring for, healing, communicating with and training horses that combines the best of traditional and complementary methods.

There are three modules to The Equamigo Approach, attendance of each, in order is recommended for guests to acquire an all round understanding. All modules allow guests hands-on contact with the Healing Herd for practical learning purposes.

Module 1: Herdsmanship and Horse Care
An overview of the Equamigo Approach and the principles of Herdsmanship and Horse Care used to kick-start the healing and rehabilitation process. Learn the art of Herdsmanship and how lifestyle, habitat, surroundings, relationships and routines contribute to health, wellbeing and performance.

Module 2: How to Heal a Horse
Learn how horses heal and how we can help them in the healing process. Guests enjoy hands-on time with the herd and gain practical experience working with complementary therapies such as magnotherapy, essential oils and herbs.

Module 3: How to Talk Horse
Learn the subtleties and complexities of a Horse’s language and how it’s used. Guests enjoy practical experience of building trust and optimum co-operation through minimal use of clear thought, energy, intention and focused communication.
